湖南省社会科学院经济研究所所长肖毅敏表示，城镇居民人均收入超过2万元，将有利于推进消费进入一
个新阶段，有利于扩大湖南的内需，更多依赖内需来发展地区经济是必走之路。
而对于湖南城乡居民收入低于全国平均水平的现状，在肖毅敏眼里，这在一定程度上反映了分配结构和经
济结构相适应，湖南当前人均GDP也低于全国平均水平，人均收入也低于全国平均水平。肖毅敏分析，这
整体反映了湖南在工业化进程中，还有很大发展空间。
不过，要从整体上增长湖南居民人均收入水平，肖毅敏建议，现阶段长沙等相对发达的城市应该更好地发
挥其对湖南经济发展带头作用，为其他地区提供更多的技术和人才支持。
