有关钓鱼台，影音短片介绍说，以前曾有柴鱼片工厂，有将近200名日本人住在岛上。
日本外务省今后还要推出英语、汉语、韩语等的10国语言版本上传网络。

此外日本外务省还将题为“大家知道尖阁诸岛(即我钓鱼岛及其附属岛屿--本网注)"的视频上传至YouTube，同时还上传到了外务省主页中日关系专栏上。
韩国政府对日本上传“竹岛相关视频”视为对独岛问题进行的挑衅，并通过首尔外交渠道向日方表示了强烈的抗议。韩国政府目前还正在考虑推出新的应对措施。
