　　据介绍，谢阳当案由衡阳市人民检察院反渎职侵权局立案侦查，在经湖南省人民检察院审查后决定予以逮捕。

　　检方侦查发现，现年48岁的谢阳当在担任常宁市副市长及兼任该市青阳北路开发建设领导小组组长期间，超越职权，违法决定为某房地产开发公司免除因土地规划调整而应补缴的土地价款，为该公司谋取不正当利益，给国家造成巨额经济损失。在此期间，犯罪嫌疑人谢阳当还利用职务便利收受他人贿赂。目前，该案尚在进一步侦查之中。
