在台湾花莲县（北纬23.5度，东经121.4度）发生6.7级地震，震源深度20千米。

花莲县距离福建省平潭岛不到200公里，地震发生时，杭州、福州、莆田、泉州等

地均有震感，其中，平潭、福清、湄洲岛等岛屿震感强烈。
