　　卡里巴南岸水电站是津巴布韦重要的水电枢纽，但由于装机容量不足，发电能力受到制约。这项工程预计工期4年，造价约3.55亿美元，将由中国水电负责建设。完工后，水电站的装机容量将提升30万千瓦。

　　据了解，目前津巴布韦电力供应短缺，需要常年从邻国购电。电能的匮乏严重制约了国家经济复苏的步伐。
