中远集团旗下A股上市公司*ST远洋11月8日晚间称徐敏杰7日被证实被有关部门调查。公司称于当日接到控股股东中国远洋运输(集团)总公司通知，公司执行董事徐敏杰正接受相关部门调查。同时宣布公司董事徐敏杰因个人原因已辞去董事职务，该辞任即日生效。
公开资料显示，徐敏杰于1980年加入中远集团，历任上海远洋运输公司船长、上远货运公司部门经理、副总经理、中远集运亚太部上海分部(上海中货公司)总经理、中远(集团)总公司运输部总经理、中远太平洋有限公司总经理。 2011年2月，徐敏杰出任中远集团总公司副总裁、党组成员。
