居民楼内一名租户称，有一次朋友来“20号”找她，看到网络学校门口挂的“20号”就钻了进去，结果迷了路，只得打电话求救。
“我告诉她附近有三个20号，找最高的那座楼就对了。”她表示现在亲戚朋友来玩，她都不说“新德街20号”，而是说中国电影器材公司旁边最高的居民楼。
另一名女住户称，门牌号还影响了信件、快递。一次快递在填地址时，忘记加上“居民楼”，就被送到了同院的北京四中网校。另有一次朋友寄的信一直没收到。几个月后与大院保安聊天时，才发现信在北大门前台。
一名邮政快递员称，该院信件一般会标明“居民楼”或“公司”，未标明放在北大门。
