中缅天然气管道昆明西支线碧鸡关末站站内天然气置换工作今日结束，13日正式开始试运行。待西末站具备投产条件后，云南中石油昆仑燃气有限公司将正式接手，并在昆明市政府主导下逐步把中缅管道天然气送进春城千家万户。
中缅天然气管道昆明西支线是缅气入昆的重要通道，管道自西向东敷设，全长约39.6千米，管线起于中缅天然气管道昆明西分输站，途经安宁市草铺、温泉、连然、太平和昆明市西山区团结、马街等地，止于西山区碧鸡关输气末站。西支线设计输量6.86亿立方米/年，约188万立方米/天。西末站是中缅天然气从西面入昆的第一个门站，天然气从西末站降压后进入中压入城管线再连接到现有中压管网，依托城市管网，经过天然气置换后，再由调压站调压到安全压力后进入低压管网，最后通向千家万户。
今年年底，西末站连通试运行完成后，昆明市西山区春雨路段昆明水泥厂生活区、翠峰花园、春雨小区、中铁养路机修厂生活区的2220户居民有望率先使用上天然气。云南昆仑燃气公司将逐步按照118个置换片区由西向东完成昆明市主城区天然气置换工作，预计主城区90万户民用户和2000余户工商业用户的置换过程需要2年至3年时间。
