中国移动一些地方抢先4G放号
最新的消息是，北京移动开始发售4款支持TD-LTE网络的4G手机，北京10家营业厅同时接受预订。北京移动是中国移动在北方第二个对4G放号的城市，之前，青岛移动已推出4G手机和套餐。
中国移动对4G放号最早的城市是杭州等地，今年2月，浙江移动以试商用的名义在杭州、温州、宁波等地进行4G放号。不过，随着浙江移动钟天华改任广东移动总经理，自9月末以来，对4G放号的热潮由浙江改为了广东，今年9月末，中国移动广东公司在广州核深圳大举开始办理4G通信业务。
不仅如此，中国移动在一些西部省市已大量启动了4G试商用，虽然在西部进展较慢，但相比中国电信和中国联通仍然是现行一步，例如在陕西，陕西移动自2013年初开始启动了4G网络建设以来，一期工程已建成2000个基站，覆盖全省热点区域，并在10个地市建成11个4G体验厅，计划11月底将完成二期工程，开通4800个基站，覆盖10地市核心区域。年底开通基站数则计划达到7000多个。覆盖陕西省内全部县以上的城区、校园和部分乡镇等热点区域。
而中国电信和中国联通在当地的4G网络还“八字没一撇”。中国电信的4G设备招标才于日前结束，而中国联通的4G网络建设才刚开始。
试商用套餐不免费
从中国移动一些地方的4G放号来看，其与4G体验已不是一回事。
今年6月，中国移动的公告曾称，中国移动用户报名即有机会体验4G，条件是入网一年以上，近三个月月均消费大于50元，且无欠费记录的中国移动客户；近三个月月均上网流量大于50M的中国移动客户。
本次中国移动招募体验者将在北京、上海、天津、沈阳、南京、杭州、宁波、福州、厦门、青岛、广州、深圳、成都13个城市展开。目前已开放上海、天津、福州、厦门和成都的用户报名。程序是，审核通过之后，用户只需缴纳500元押金(退还体验终端时即返还)，即可领取一部4G终端及相应USIM卡，之后就可以体验中国移动4G网络。
不过，目前中国移动一些地方的4G套餐不是体验，而是实际收费。
以广东移动为例，其为4G套餐提供了三星N7108D以及华为716两款4G手机可供用户选择，前者的合约价为5299元，而后者则是2888元，合约期最短为18个月，最长则是36个月。具体套餐方面，普通套餐目前分为138元、238元以及338元三个档次。用户需要支付“真金白银”，才能使用4G。
电信和联通未予理会
按理来说，4G放号应该在发放4G牌照之后。今年年初，工信部曾批复可在13个城市进行TD-LTE扩大规模试验，而截至目前，工信部正式批复同意中移动(52.1, -0.09, -0.17%)在北京等全国326个城市开展TD-LTE扩大规模试验。业内预计，今年12月，国家才会发放4G牌照。
迄今，中国移动一些地方的4G放号并未遭到阻力和引发争议，可能是中国联通和中国电信无可奈何或者无暇顾及，有TD-LTE这个招牌，中国移动的4G放号很多障碍都被清除。
对于4G，中国联通和中国电信有诸多的无奈，尽管两家运营商一再呼吁发给他们FDD LTE牌照，但没有人理解他们，目前的所有迹象都显示他们会获得TD-LTE和FDD LTE两张牌照，必须建设一部分TD-LTE网络，而更好的FDD LTE还不知道何时发放。
竞争的关键接下来主要是看中国移动自己如何运营，业内认为，最关键的是TD-LTE手机，因为既然中国移动在4G方面“快人一步”，那么中国联通和中国电信肯定会在后面找捷径赶超，而4G手机有可能就是捷径之一。今年7月，中国电信就曾传出其手机制式将主要采用FDD LTE制式，上网卡等终端则采用TD-LTE制式，而在国际上，FDD LTE手机远比TD-LTE手机机型多，因此，中国移动目前也在整合产业链，其在4G手机上的情况应该会大大好于3G时代的TD-SCDMA手机。
