According to TechCrunch sources, United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) published on Apple's application for a patent. Patent presents an intermittent network transmission of low power Bluetooth technology (Bluetooth LE For Intermittent Network Sharing). The technology for iOS devices today provided a smart way of pairing.

This new invention technology with the iPhone and other Apple devices have always used to connect in different ways, innovation is a hot spot in data communication using a Bluetooth or Wifi, not always connected, but through regular checks from iCloud, get notifications, update information, news, weather, and other data, then disconnect and return to sleep mode, low power consumption.

Low power consumption is a key to Apple patent. Current intelligence watch, such as Samsung's Galaxy Gear are also data communication via Bluetooth. But Apple's patented power saving has never been better, and you don't need to set it manually, users do not need to think about when to activate or disconnect network connection. In August, Apple acquired a specially developed low-power Silicon Valley Passif Semiconductor chip manufacturers, this initiative has significantly enhanced the Apple technical advantages over low-power Bluetooth transmission.

据TechCrunch消息，美国专利及商标局（USPTO）公布了苹果公司申请的一个专利。专利提出了一种间歇性进行网络传输的低功耗蓝牙技术（Bluetooth LE For Intermittent Network Sharing）。该技术为现今的iOS设备提供了一种智能的配对方式。

苹果这个新发明提出的技术与iPhone等设备一贯使用的连接方式不同，创新点在于热点在使用蓝牙或者Wifi进行数据通讯时，不是一直处于连接状态的，而是通过定期从iCloud进行检查，获取通知、信息、新闻、天气等数据的更新，之后断开连接，恢复到低能耗的睡眠模式。

低能耗是苹果这个专利的关键。目前的智能腕表，例如三星的Galaxy Gear也是通过蓝牙来进行数据通讯。但是苹果的这个专利在省电方面做得更好，并且无需手动进行设置，用户不必去考虑什么时候该把网络连接激活或者断开。8月时，苹果收购了硅谷一家专门开发低功耗芯片的厂商Passif Semiconductor，这举措极大的加强了苹果在低功耗蓝牙传输上的技术优势。

在这个专利里苹果并没有提到该技术具体的应用产品，但我们可以很容易的联想到大热门iWatch。虽然只是猜想，但是至少我们看到苹果在往可穿戴设备这个方向上做了努力。因为电池寿命一直是个难题，目前最好的智能腕表也只能待机7天，不把这个问题解决掉，用户无论如何也不会满意。
