中新社昆明11月13日电 (记者 胡远航) 大自然保护协会中国部首席科学家、中国灵长类专家组组长龙勇诚13日，在接受记者采访时证实，日前在怒江获得一只2岁多的怒江金丝猴活体，这是中国首次获得第五种金丝猴活体样本。
“怒江金丝猴”，是一个被发现和命名仅3年的新物种，也是世界第五种金丝猴。在此之前，世界上公认的金丝猴有川金丝猴、滇金丝猴、黔金丝猴和越南金丝猴四种，其中前三种都分布在中国境内。
龙勇诚介绍称，2010年初，野生动植物保护国际(FFI)在缅甸克钦邦东北部发现一个新的金丝猴物种标本，并将其命名为RhinopithecusStrykeri，但不能肯定该新物种是否依然存在。2012年，云南怒江高黎贡山国家自然保护区护林人员拍摄到这一金丝猴新种群，并采集到粪便样本。后经DNA检测，确定其即为世界第五种金丝猴——怒江金丝猴。
“怒江金丝猴全身黑毛，耳部和颊部有一小撮白毛；面部皮肤呈淡粉色，下巴上有独特的白色胡须；其尾巴较长，几乎是身长的1.4倍。”龙勇诚向记者介绍，此次获得的怒江金丝猴活体是一只2岁多的雌性猴，现被安置在高黎贡山国家自然保护区内。这只金丝猴原本是受伤后被当地一农民收养在家，后来该农民在得知其为怒江金丝猴后移交给怒江林业局。
首次获得怒江金丝猴的活体固然令人惊喜，而据目前掌握的极其有限的情况，专家们认为，怒江金丝猴的种群数量不容乐观，估计仅300余只，已极度濒危。
“如何对其进行科学有效的监测、保护和研究，已成为迫在眉睫的紧要任务。当然，金丝猴的保护也有待当地农民的参与。”龙勇诚说。一直以来，金丝猴家族都徘徊在濒临灭绝的境地。滇金丝猴远居滇藏的雪山杉树林，数量仅3000余只；黔金丝猴仅见于贵州梵净山，数量更少。除中国和越南外，这些稀世珍宝在世界上也仅有法国、英国等极少数国家的博物馆中收藏有若干标本。(完)
