工厂暂时停工 疑与资金困难有关
13日下午4时，记者赶到湘潭恒盾集团有限公司时，大门紧闭且无人看守。记者进入公司时，发现传达室没有值班人员，厂房内机器停止了运作，空无一人。最后，在职工宿舍区，记者见到了几位恒盾集团的员工。
一位从事保安工作的男性员工告诉记者，今天他们才得知老板出了事，所有上午工厂就停工了，大家都没有心思做事。具体何时复工，还要等待公司的通知。得知的死讯后，不少员工都自发去殡仪馆悼念。
这位员工说，董事长王检忠生活朴素，对员工非常好，从来没有拖欠过工资，还经常替员工的孩子联系就读学校。
据网上资料显示，王检忠系湖南湘乡人，中共党员，曾被评为省级“雷锋式企业家”、“湖南省优秀光彩人物”。成立于1998年的湘潭市恒盾集团是一家致力于楠竹综合开发的民营股份制高新技术企业。集团公司总注册资金3.5亿元，现有总资产6.4亿元，下辖日用品、竹制产品等公司，是国家农业产业化重点龙头企业。
几位受访的员工透露，王检忠生前因公司资金困难，曾数次去到湘潭市政府相关部门申请贷款援助，但均未果。其死因可能与此有关。
家属等待政府协调 不愿多谈
下午5时许，记者辗转来到湘潭市殡仪馆，王检忠的几位亲属正在其灵堂内守灵。见到陌生人来访，王检忠的女儿起身询问记者到访目的。
王检忠的女儿说，父亲离世前并未有任何异常行为，12日也是其独自一人前往湘潭市政府。关于员工提及的企业资金困难的说法，她表示，父亲的离世有这方面的原因。但在她看来，父亲选择在市政府大楼结束生命，必定有其原因。“要不然不会选择那个地方跳楼。”
对于如何善后以及恒盾集团日后的运营，王检忠的女儿一再表示现在不愿过多谈，“一切等政府的善后方案出来后再作打算。”
据了解，王检忠家属在殡仪馆设灵后，恒盾集团所在的工业园曾派代表前来悼念。官方介绍，目前，湘潭市雨湖区委、区政府正在开展善后事宜的处置。
