Myanmar held Fourth Ministerial meeting of the security cooperation in law enforcement

Beijing, November 13 correspondent Eun Lee tree, Burma and the fourth Ministerial Conference on law enforcement security cooperation held in Beijing on November 13. Guo shengkun said that China attaches great importance to and has been working to strengthen its pragmatic cooperation with Myanmar's Ministry of the Interior. Border region cooperation in the third ministerial meeting on combating transnational crimes and maintaining law and order since the law enforcement departments of the two countries to actively implement the consensus of the meeting, in order to maintain security and stability in border areas between the two countries in particular had made a positive contribution. Hope law enforcement departments to seriously implement the leaders of the two countries to reach a consensus, in high level visits, institution-building, combating transnational crimes, maintaining a durable peace, the Mekong basin law enforcement capacity-building, counter-terrorism and drug to further strengthen cooperation, and continuously improve the level of cooperation, and jointly maintain peace, stability and prosperity in the region.

Brother says Myanmar-Burma and China expressed satisfaction with the results achieved in the area of law enforcement security cooperation. Myanmar attached great importance to the Department of the Interior and the Ministry of public security law enforcement security cooperation, and is willing to deepen pragmatic cooperation with China, actively promote the Mekong law enforcement security cooperation, promote cooperation to a new level.

After the meeting, the two sides signed the People's Republic of China Ministry of public security and the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Federal Republic of Myanmar's fourth law enforcement ministerial meeting on security cooperation and other cooperation documents.

Deputy Minister of public security Meng Hongwei attended the meeting.

　　本报北京11月13日讯 记者李恩树中缅第四次执法安全合作部长级会议11月13日在北京召开。国务委员、公安部部长郭声琨与缅甸内政部部长哥哥主持会议。

　　郭声琨表示，中缅山水相连，“胞波”情谊深厚。今年以来，习近平主席、李克强总理分别与吴登盛总统会晤，就深化中缅全面战略合作伙伴关系达成重要共识，为新形势下双边关系发展指明了方向，也为两国执法安全合作的长期、稳定发展奠定了坚实基础。

　　郭声琨指出，中国公安部高度重视并一直致力于加强与缅甸内政部的务实合作。第三次中缅边境地区合作打击跨国犯罪和维护社会治安部长级会议以来，两国执法部门积极落实会议共识，为维护两国特别是两国边境地区的安全与稳定作出了积极贡献。希望双方执法部门认真落实两国领导人达成的共识，在高层互访、机制建设、打击跨国犯罪、维护湄公河流域长治久安、执法能力建设、反恐和禁毒等方面进一步加强合作，不断提升合作水平，共同维护本地区的和平、稳定与繁荣。

　　哥哥表示，缅方对缅中两国在执法安全合作领域取得的成果表示满意。缅甸内政部高度重视与中国公安部的执法安全合作，愿与中方不断深化务实合作，积极推进湄公河流域执法安全合作，推动合作迈上新的台阶。

　　会议结束后，双方签署了《中华人民共和国公安部和缅甸联邦共和国内政部第四次执法安全合作部长级会议纪要》等合作文件。

　　公安部副部长孟宏伟出席会议。
