　　本报讯(记者李林娜)作为我省5A级旅游景区，嘉峪关关城以“天下雄关”的威名享誉国内外。11月13日，记者从省旅游局获悉，嘉峪关市文化遗产保护工程日前全面启动，将对嘉峪关市境内的长城等进行“修旧如故”的保护维修，嘉峪关市文化遗产保护工程是嘉峪关关城建成以来最大规模的一次修缮保护工程，也是我省历史上实施的规模最大、涵盖面最广、文化内涵最丰富的综合性文化遗产保护工程。

　　据介绍，嘉峪关市文化遗产保护工程将全面完成嘉峪关市境内长城保护维修、关城城墙保护维修、木结构建筑修缮及油饰彩画、历史建筑恢复、安防设施建设、长城第一墩本体保护及崖壁加固、遗产监测中心建设及文化遗产公园基础设施、园林景观、接待服务设施建设、周边环境整治、非物质文化遗产展示等建设内容。目前，关城城楼等木结构建筑修缮及油饰彩画和部分墙体保护工程已完工，关城主体城墙维修工程正在有序开展。
