中国移动通信集团设计院电磁环境实验室技术负责人马文华博士为记者进行了一项测试，马博士说，国家标准是40微瓦每平方厘米，现在测试的值是0.4微瓦每平方厘米，这相当于国家标准的1/100，在安全范围。当无线路由器距离人体十米左右时，检测仪上显示的辐射指数是0.14到0.12。马博士还说，事实上在生活中路由器的电磁辐射值减弱得更多，因为空气中本身还存在着别的辐射本底值。

马博士随后还随机检测了一家酒店的电视机、台式电脑以及记者手中所拿的平板电脑，所显示的数值分别为0.06、0.1、0.16微瓦每平方厘米，都大大低于40微瓦每平方厘米的国家标准。

马博士说，家用电器或者手机的辐射值，大家不用太多的在意和担心，其实对我们没有什么太大的影响。但是可以养成良好的生活习惯，比如打手机的话，可以使用耳机。手机只在开机的前几秒会辐射比较大，但是这个数值也在安全范围内。而“绿色植被减辐射”一说，马博士则认为它并不能起到多少作用，因为植被本身能吸收的电磁辐射是很少的。
