丰台区嘉园小区附近的锅炉房已经开启了3台燃煤锅炉。这里也是北京市五环以内为数不多的燃煤锅炉房之一，承担着约130万平方米、近1.5万户居民的供暖任务。明年，这座锅炉房将启动煤改气工程。
15日，北京市供热部门还将在全市范围内按照不低于2%至3%的比例开展入户测温，及时解决室内温度不达标的问题。北京市供热办主任王爱民说，如果15日后，居民家中室温仍未能达到18摄氏度，可先与供热单位联系，还可寻求第三方测温。
11月15日至次年3月15日是北京市法定的采暖期。北京市供热办预计今冬供热面积约7.6亿平方米，比去年新增2500万平方米，其中住宅5.33亿平方米。
