　　11月14日12点50分许，湖北宣恩县城至该县桐子营乡村路大拱挢弯道处发生一起交通事故，造成7人死亡1人受伤。

　　事发时，出事车辆在弯道处会车，从10余米高的公路上坠入6米深水库中。截至15日10点30分，打捞搜救工作已基本完成，现场已经恢复平静。

　　据了解，事故车辆司机为原宣恩县交通局副局长、宣恩县高路办主任苏某，现年42岁，车牌号为鄂Q57XX9。车上8人为亲友关系。

　　目前，相关善后工作正在进行。(完)
