Supplementary provision of assistance to the Philippines， Hong Kong and other disaster relief needs

　　新华网香港11月15日电 (记者刘欢)香港特区立法会财务委员会15日通过向赈灾基金追加拨款4000万港元申请，以应付救援机构就紧急救援菲律宾风灾灾民及其他赈灾需要。

　　香港特区政府行政署长蔡洁如表示，此次不是要将拨款全数拨予救援机构到菲律宾赈灾，余额会拨入下一个财政年度的赈灾基金。

　　香港赈灾基金1993年成立，旨在向香港以外遭灾地区提供紧急救援。当前香港赈灾基金的结余约有九百万港元，此次追加拨款申请获得批准后，基金结余将有约五千万港元。
