终究是要说再见,《家用电脑与游戏》停刊

11月15日消息,《家用电脑与游戏》主编刘威昨日傍晚在微博正式宣布《家用电脑与游戏》停刊,2013年11-12月合刊,总第231期,也是最后一期。

《家用电脑与游戏》月刊,由科学普及出版社主办,创刊于1994年6月。原名《家用电脑与游戏机》,是中国最早的电脑游戏杂志之一。

刘威以《终于,结束了》为题宣布《家用电脑与游戏》停刊:

终于,结束了。《家用电脑与游戏》2013年11-12月合刊,总第231期,在这个晴朗的冬日制作完成。最后一期。

1996年6月号《家用电脑与游戏机》中《盛夏、发烧与中暑》(编者的话)是我在杂志上写下的第一篇文字,那年5月我刚刚应聘成为一名游戏杂志编辑;而这期合刊上的《图说简明游戏杂志史》则是最后一篇,在这个专题里我简单介绍了从1981年11月至今全球约120种游戏杂志的概况。17年,除去2007~2008年主编《印象》杂志期间,我大致参与和负责制作了近200本《家游》。

15年前我开始上网,2000年做个人主页,2004年写博客,2007年用Twitter,始终是互联网的重度用户。最近5年,我在手机上装过不计其数的游戏和应用,又成了智能手机的重度用户。我早就不怎么看纸质出版物了,当然清楚传统平面媒体的处境和趋势。我也一直在观察思考平媒的转型与出路,但最终觉得,大部分传统媒体无法实现“转型”,只会或快或慢地消亡。

即便如此,我还是在坚持做杂志,不为别的,我只是喜欢做杂志而已。

“在资讯海量化和碎片化的时代,杂志作为一种相对有限、封闭和滞后的信息产品,其缺陷显而易见。但杂志同时还是一种相对完整、精致和特别的文化产品,在一段时间内必然有其存在价值;只是,每个人都不知道这段时间的长度。”(摘自最后的专题)

如今,我用自己17年的“后青春期”岁月丈量完了一本杂志的生命长度,并在这个过程中收获了无限的快乐和满足。感谢所有曾经支持和关注《家用电脑与游戏》的读者、作者及业内同仁,感谢所有在这段漫长日子里陪伴过我的人,感谢所有知道我名字的人。
