　　据集邮专家介绍，毛泽东题材邮票可分为新民主主义革命时期、建国初期和社会主义建设初期、“文革”时期、“文革”以后至今。据不完全统计，在这四个阶段里，曾发行过毛泽东题材邮票近70套。

　　天津邮政表示，为了配合《毛泽东同志诞生一百二十周年》纪念邮票发行，他们还围绕本套邮票推出了《领袖风采》、《伟人风采》、《红色纪念》、《毛泽东诞辰120周年瓷邮文化珍藏册》等一系列纪念邮品。
