《毛泽东同志诞生一百二十周年》纪念邮票一套4枚，名称分别为：问苍茫大地谁主沉浮、北国风光、毛泽东在十二月会议上、心潮。全套邮票面值为4.80元。
毛泽东同志诞生一百二十周年纪念邮票，以表现毛泽东形象的四幅大型油画为主体内容。油画《问苍茫大地谁主沉浮》，作者陈衍宁，画家表达了“独立寒秋”的意境，更突出了毛泽东风华正茂，准备投身伟大革命洪流的坚毅。油画《北国风光》和《毛泽东在十二月会议上》，作者为靳尚谊，画面中毛泽东坚毅沉着、睿智果敢，展示了中国共产党的伟大领袖置身于伟大时代的雄才伟略与豪迈自信，体现了毛泽东英雄果断的统帅风度。油画《心潮》，作者高泉，画面中毛泽东形象高大，雄姿勃勃，背手远望，十分从容，表现出毛泽东无比豪迈的英雄气概。
该套邮票主题设计突出，生动再现了毛泽东同志的伟大形象。在印制上采用多色胶印，精细地再现了油画的层次、色彩，完美表现了伟人的精神和气质，达到了人画合一的艺术效果。该套邮票由马刚设计，河南省邮电印刷厂印制。
在活动现场，很多市民一大早就赶了过来，感受伟人走过的奋斗足迹，这些邮展丰富多彩，很多市民参观后表示感悟很深，很多集邮爱好者纷纷参与加盖纪念戳、风景戳等活动，并品鉴相关题材邮品。
“这个活动将邮票与爱国主义教育相结合，通过邮票的形式，来缅怀一代伟人，让大家感受毛主席的奋斗足迹，共同接受爱国主义熏陶，很有意义。”住在附近的张大爷对记者说。
“我买点这些邮票，除了自己收藏，还可以寄给朋友。”62岁的胡大爷说。
本次邮展为非竞赛性集邮展览，集中展现了毛泽东同志的生平业绩，以及相关红色题材展品，展出规模为12部40框邮集，所展作品由长沙市集邮协会选送。
