昨天，记者来到太原路建国西路。这块界碑竖在太原路233号一家时尚鞋店的门边，位于道路东侧上街沿。界碑是花岗岩石质，紧贴鞋店墙面，人来人往中，并不起眼。上面主要有3行文字。首行有“F.C。”和“1198”字样，第二行是“PARTIE2”，居底的是“W.S.H.H。”几个字母。
记者仔细观察发现，这块碑竟然是“双面碑”，其顶端一面也刻着“F.C。”“1198”和“PARTIE2”字样。经实测，界碑地面部分大小为12*28*33厘米。
不舍出手 已竖十年
记者找到了屋子的主人刘月亮老伯。刘老伯今年57岁，告诉记者，他土生土长于此。10多年前，这里开挖地面铺设水管时，从地下掘出一块大石头，他一看是一块租地界碑。“工人使用风镐挖掘时，不小心还将界碑磕掉了一点。”为了留作纪念，也为了给这里的老房子贴一个历史“标签”，他索性将界碑竖在门口和路边。“地下的部分大概高30厘米。”刘老伯说，多年来，不少人见到这块界碑后向他“收购”，其中多数为外国人。但他舍不得，一直没“出手”。他说，界碑埋得深，底下还加了一些混凝土作防护，“不怕别人来偷”。这些年来，界碑几乎已成了他家的“门牌”，一直保持着原貌。
首次发现 民国遗物
昨天下午，记者联系了上海历史博物馆专门研究上海租界史的专家吴志伟。吴老师告诉记者，这是一块法租界的租地界碑。该碑最上面的“F.C。”是法国领事馆的缩写，“1198”是编号，所以该碑的正规、具体称呼是“法册(道契)1198号租地界碑”。他查询许多相关资料后表示，法册1198号道契应该是民国期间，1921年底发给租地者的。
第二行的“PARTIE2”是租地人的姓名，但由于没有租地原件，不知确切为怎样身份的人。“比较特别的是后面有个‘2’。一般的租地，四周有一批道契编号相同的界碑(多少根据租地大小决定)，每件完全相同，附加‘2’序号从来没见过。但由于此是单独一件，这个‘2’一时还无法判断确切含义。”第三行应该是租地人所在洋行的缩写。
上海历史博物馆“馆藏”租地界碑中，至今还没有法租界租地界碑。本市以前从未有过法租界租地界碑的报道，这次可以说是首次发现。
