“纪律作风建设既是公安工作的重要内容，又是公安工作的重要保障。”公安部有关负责人表示，公安部将强化案件查办和督办力度，严肃追究当事人和有关领导的责任，坚决落实处分措施。近期，公安部还将派出检查组，在全国公安机关开展纪律作风大检查。
为进一步拓宽群众举报投诉的渠道，理顺公安民警违纪违法线索的受理、查处机制，目前，公安部正在抓紧建设全国公安民警违纪违法12389专用举报电话及互联网举报平台，并将于近期开通。
记者在财政部网站看到，“公安部全国公安机关12389专用举报电话平台项目”已经完成招标，该系统可支持最大同时登录数量不少于1000个，座席使用IP电话，数量不少于450部。
公安部会议费同比降八成

公安部有关负责人介绍，针对群众对交管工作的新需求，公安部进一步简化新车注册登记手续，扩大新车免检范围，对所有新出厂的轿车和其他小型、微型载客汽车在办理注册登记前免于检验。同时，继续推进机动车异地检验工作，简化手续，方便群众。
