Volvo cars wins government procurement list

Nanfang daily news (Xinhua/Chen Chih-jye) according to the Volvo car official said, the subsidiary Zhejiang Geely Automobile Group International luxury brand, is allowed to enter China's Government procurement list, open the gate into the domestic car market.

Volvo's entry, also will fuel long-term led the high-end Audi cars for competition in the market.

Three years ago, Geely Volvo staged "snake swallowing like" theatre. In August this year, Volvo cars in domestic industrial distribution of China officially approved by the Chinese Government. This layout includes establishment of vehicle manufacturing base in Daqing, Zhangjiakou established engine manufacturing base, Shanghai, the establishment of research and development base in China, as well as establish automobile manufacturing base in Chengdu. Recently, Volvo has put into operation a new car S60L at the Chengdu base.

Earlier, the Daqing Municipal Government has said that through the corporate vehicle purchase incentives, and support for Volvo cars in local development. Expect places such as Daqing and the production base in Chengdu, Volvo had access to local and more enterprises in government procurement orders.

　　南方日报讯 （记者/陈志杰）据沃尔沃汽车官方透露，这个隶属浙江吉利汽车集团的国际豪华车品牌，已获准进入中国政府采购名单，开启进入国内公务车市场的大门。

　　沃尔沃中国区新闻副总裁宁述勇表示，沃尔沃9月份已进入政府采购名单，但尚不清楚政府将如何采购。公务车市场将成为沃尔沃拓展销售的新领域，但采购量不会很大。

　　分析人士认为，沃尔沃隶属中国车企身份，可能更有利于它开拓公务车市场。近几年来，国内公务车采购总体上更加重视采用中国品牌汽车。而沃尔沃是中国车企拥有的首个全球性豪华汽车品牌。沃尔沃的进入，也将激化奥迪长期领衔的高端公务车市场竞争。

　　三年前，吉利汽车上演收购沃尔沃的“蛇吞象”大戏。今年8月，沃尔沃汽车在中国的国产化工业布局正式获得中国政府批准。这一布局包括在大庆建立整车制造基地，张家口建立发动机制造基地，上海建立中国研发基地，以及在成都建立整车制造基地。近期沃尔沃成都基地已经投产新车S60L。

　　此前，大庆市政府方面也曾表示，将通过公务车采购等方面优惠政策，支持沃尔沃汽车在当地的发展。预计在生产基地落户的大庆和成都等地，沃尔沃都能获得当地政府采购和更多企事业单位订单。
