　　11月5日，临县籍男子李某利用手机，在腾讯微博上编造传发了“山西省吕梁市离石区新城建设造成数人死亡”虚假信息，此“谣言帖”发布后多次被转载，短时间内造成了不良社会影响。

　　吕梁市、离市区公安局组织警力追查网上有关信息来源，捕捉消息源头。经过调查，警方将涉嫌在腾讯微博上散布谣言的李某查获。

　　据李某交代，在吕梁市离石区打工期间，为寻求刺激，博取众人眼球，赚网络人气，编造发布所谓“山西省吕梁市离石区新城建设已造成数人死亡”谣言，并通过离石区西属巴村一朋友的手机登陆腾讯微博账号进行了发布。

　　据警方介绍，李某的行为已经违反了《中华人民共和国治安管理处罚法》第25条第1项之规定，散布谣言，扰乱正常公共秩序，造成不良社会影响。根据法律规定，当地警方对其作出治安拘留5日的处罚。(宋立超)
