张德江说，中国与非洲是休戚与共的“命运共同体”。加强同非洲国家的团结合作，是中国对外政策的重要基石，也是中方长期、坚定的战略选择。中国共产党十八届三中全会作出了全面深化改革的战略部署，这必将为中非关系带来新的发展机遇、提供新的合作前景。中方坚持真、实、亲、诚四字方针，将与包括科特迪瓦在内非洲国家一道，全面落实好习近平主席访问非洲达成的重要共识，推动中非新型战略伙伴关系深入发展，造福中非人民。
张德江说，立法机关交往是两国关系的重要组成部分，是两国加强交流、增进友谊的重要渠道，在促进双边关系发展中发挥着越来越重要的作用。议长此次来访将深化两国议会间的交流，为中科关系发展注入新的动力。中国全国人大愿增进与科国民议会友好往来，加强立法监督、治国理政等方面的经验交流，为双方经贸合作、人文交流提供良好的法制环境，使立法机关合作成为推动中科关系持续健康发展的积极力量。
索罗说，中国人民经过自身努力和奋斗取得的巨大发展成就令人钦佩，中方坚持国家不分大小一律平等、友好相待的立场令人尊重。科方视中方为好兄弟、好朋友，继续坚持一个中国的立场，愿进一步加强两国立法机关的友好交往，学习中方在发展经济、改善民生等方面的成功经验，让科中友谊结出更加丰硕的成果。
