习近平强调，中欧双方要充分发挥领导人会晤以及多个对话机制作用，增进互信，就重大全球性和地区性问题加强沟通，共同维护世界和地区安全与稳定。双方要扩大贸易和投资合作，推进投资协定谈判，反对各种形式的保护主义，推动发展开放型世界经济。希望欧方为中国企业赴欧开展经贸合作创造良好环境。双方要制定好《中欧合作2020战略规划》，培育和开发好城镇化、科研创新、航空航天、绿色经济等合作增长点，推动中欧合作向更高、更新、更前沿领域迈进。
范龙佩和巴罗佐表示，欧中都是促进世界和平、安全与繁荣的重要力量。双方建立全面战略伙伴关系10年来，合作日益巩固和加强，彼此成为重要合作伙伴。欧方高度赞赏中国取得的巨大发展成就，支持中国全面深化改革。中国保持发展势头，对欧洲很重要。欧盟也正致力于改革，推进一体化进程。欧中共同拥有一个实现和平、公正、繁荣世界的梦。欧中在各自发展道路上，要相互支持，相互帮助。欧方感谢中方给予的信心和支持，希望同中国保持对话，深化互信，扩大合作，早日完成投资协定谈判，加强在国际和地区事务中沟通与协调，推动欧中关系进一步发展。
