省委组织部副部长田晓东说，今年6月，我省首次面向优秀工人农民拟招录487名公务员，最后报名符合报名资格条件的共3773人，参加笔试的考生共3467人，实际录用了457名公务员，比原计划少录了30名，是由于个别职位考生笔试成绩低于最低控制分数线等原因而被取消。
在新录用的457名公务员中，面向工人职位的156名(录用比例为10.7：1)、面向农民职位的108名(录用比例为7.5：1)、面向基层一线其他人员职位的193名(录用比例为5：1)。
在录用的人员中，党员占67.8%；获得市级及以上表彰或劳模称号的70人(其中省部级15人，市级55人)，占15.3%。
此次招录实施全过程监督。面试后，查实有3人资格条件弄虚作假，他们的录取资格被取消。
大多去基层一线工作

省人社厅厅长翟四虎说，此次招录的457人，占全省今年考试录用公务员总数的15%。从今年起，我省每年都要列出全年招录公务员计划的15%，专门用于从优秀工人农民中考试录用公务员，力争通过3—5年的努力，使全省从优秀工人农民中考试录用的公务员在基层干部队伍中占有一定比例。

在这457名公务员中，具有大学本科学历84人、大专学历291人；有中共党员310人；有193名是村(社区)干部和劳模，包括担任10年以上村(社区)党组织书记或主任的有90人。可以看出，这批新录用公务员的综合素质是比较高的(年龄最大的45岁，属村干部；最小23岁，为工人)，把他们补充到我省公务员队伍中，不会降低公务员队伍整体的素质，反而能够给我省公务员队伍注入生机与活力，有利于改善全省公务员队伍结构。
