New-type urbanization in China, both based on the circumstances, both draw has achieved a modern scientific concepts and advanced experience of countries, Central Europe in this area we can communicate with each other.
Li said that China's new urbanization will bring enormous business opportunities. The EU not only to strengthen cooperation among Governments, but also to deepen businesses, think tanks, designers such as multi-level exchanges, in public services, planning and design, green building, smart cities, history, culture and landscape protection areas such as enhanced cooperation. Representatives looked forward to participating in the Forum have wisdom and expertise, promote their cooperation fruitful.
Mr van rompuy, Barroso said, the 16th EU-China Summit meeting to open up a new era in EU-China relations has laid a solid foundation. 李克强说，中欧城镇化伙伴关系论坛从一年前的创办，发展到今天双方政商学界上千人积极参与的规模，充分表明中欧新型城镇化合作潜力巨大，必将成为中欧合作的一个重要支柱。
李克强表示，改革开放以来，中国向着实现现代化的目标不断迈出坚实步伐，工业化和城镇化进程加快推进。但中国是一个拥有13亿人口的大国，要实现现代化还有很长的路要走，我们要在总结经验的基础上，积极稳妥地推进新型城镇化，这是一个长期、艰巨、复杂的过程。
李克强指出，中国的新型城镇化是以人为核心、注重质量的城镇化，是尊重农民意愿、保护农民合法权益、保障粮食安全基础之上的，致力于集约、低碳、人与自然和谐相处的城镇化，必须更加符合人民意愿、符合实现现代化的需要、符合绿色发展的要求，正确处理政府和市场的关系。中国走新型城镇化道路，既要立足国情，又要注意汲取已经实现现代化国家的科学理念和先进经验，中欧在这方面完全可以相互交流。
李克强说，中国的新型城镇化会带来巨大商机。中欧双方不仅要加强政府间的合作，更要深化企业界、智库、设计人员等多层次的交流互鉴，在规划设计、公共服务、绿色建筑、智能城市、历史文化和风貌保护等领域加强合作。期待参加论坛的代表们发挥智慧与专长，推动双方合作结出硕果。
范龙佩、巴罗佐表示，第十六次欧盟中国领导人会晤为开创欧中关系新纪元奠定了坚实基础。城镇化合作是欧中关系的重要组成部分，影响深远，有助于提高双方人民的生活水平，促进双方可持续发展和共同繁荣。欧方愿与中方在此领域开展长期、务实、有效的合作。
李克强还与范龙佩、巴罗佐共同见证了中欧城镇化合作城市项目的签署。(完)
