Mao Ze-Dong’s glasses rare photos on display

　　本报讯(记者 万凌) 为纪念毛主席诞辰120周年，东湖宾馆对外展出毛主席在武汉留下的400余幅珍贵照片，有长沙游客发现一张毛主席戴眼镜的罕见珍贵照片。

　　昨天，记者在东湖宾馆毛泽东同志故居一楼的陈列馆内看到，此次展出的照片、音像和实物分为6大主题，从毛主席与湖北的渊源、在汉视察工作、内政外交、兴趣爱好和梅岭足迹等方面再现毛主席在汉的岁月。

　　讲解员周白雪介绍，此次展出中的100多幅图片为首次对外披露，主要来自党史研究室、中央文献研究室及毛主席身边的工作人员。吕厚民和钱嗣杰两位摄影师多年跟随在毛主席身边，拍摄了大量珍贵照片，新华社和人民日报的摄影记者也多次捕捉到毛主席畅游长江和挥舞乒乓球拍的动人瞬间。

　　其中有一张照片，毛主席戴着黑框眼镜、面露笑容，似乎在兴致勃勃地观看演出。在众多的照片中，这是毛主席惟一一次戴眼镜示人。照片背后的故事是，1958年12月1日毛主席在东湖宾馆观看粤剧演员红线女的演出，演出后还亲笔题写鲁迅的名句“横眉冷对千夫指，俯首甘为孺子牛”赠予她。

　　毛主席晚年曾患过白内障。这张照片拍摄于他第一次做手术后，当时他的视力尚未完全恢复，所以才戴眼镜观看演出。馆内还展出了两副造型别致的眼镜。原来毛主席临睡前有读书的习惯，尤其喜欢躺在床上看书，但戴眼镜容易压迫鼻梁，所以工作人员为他特制了单腿眼镜，方便他侧头。
