毕业16年的学生来了，毕业29年的学生听闻老师病重，更是从全国各地赶往长沙探望。

在87届学生李和平的眼里，和李老师相伴的永远是煤油灯和手电筒。当时山区未通电，晚自习仅靠煤油灯照明，下了课，李老师一刻不歇，举着手电筒四处家访。
李老师的顾家让唐玉华印象深刻。“我见得最多的就是他上完课后，匆忙往家里赶的身影，因为家里还有很多农活等着他。”
最累的后勤工作
一干就是8年
执教28年，直到病倒，才无奈换岗。“2005年，李老师从船仓小学调到高坪中学，但当时学校物理老师饱和，而食堂后勤工作又缺人手，他就主动请缨来接手这份苦差事。”高坪中学副校长李万春说，食堂后勤又忙又累，一般人根本不愿干，“可他一干就是8年，期间从未请过假。”
让李万春没想到的是，李谟金教书育人一流，后勤工作也干得热火朝天。“他每天凌晨4点半起床，5点便踩着三轮车到附近的市场买菜，晚上7点才能下班。”
除了买菜，监督分菜、做菜、餐具消毒李老师也都一一参与。为了保证食品安全，他还把所有的生、熟菜都留样保存48小时。
一天中，李谟金理论上有2个小时的休息时间，他却利用这2个小时搞起了“调研”。“他‘调研’的内容是学生最近喜欢吃哪些菜，今天的菜是否合口味等等。”李万春说，在食堂吃饭的学生越来越多，这多亏了李老师的细心。
面对一拨拨来探望的学生、同事和好心人士，刘春连反而劝起了他们，“老李病情现在有好转，我在视频上看到他比以前更精神了，你们别担心，他会回学校的。”

“好老师”欧南保 悄悄住进养老院
执教20多年，桃李无数，却意外病倒偏瘫，一躺3年。今年教师节前，娄底新化炉观中学的老师欧南保被学生们推进了湘雅医院。在近一个月的治疗中，社会各界爱心人士为欧老师募集了10万元善款。本以为欧老师从医院转回娄底后，能继续和哥嫂共度安稳的日子，他却住进了养老院。
联系上欧老师，问及入住养老院的初衷，欧老师并不言语，再问，“是否不想再打扰哥嫂和学生的生活？”他“嗯”了一声。
欧老师觉得耽误了哥嫂和学生太多时间，也耗费了大伙大量的财力，“他不愿再劳烦各位，而选择了默默离开，但他不应该被忘记。”
