中共中央政治局常委、国务院总理李克强作出批示，要求全力搜救失踪受伤人员，深入排除控制危险源，妥善做好各项善后工作。加强检查督查，严格落实安全生产责任。
受习近平总书记，李克强总理委托，国务委员王勇已率有关部门负责同志紧急赶赴事故现场指导救援工作，看望慰问伤员。
事故发生后，山东省委省政府主要负责同志，国务院有关部门，中石化公司负责人也紧急赶赴事故现场指导抢险救援工作。目前，输油管道已关闭，起火点已全部扑灭，各项善后工作正在进行。有关地方和部门正按照中央领导同志重要指示精神，进一步采取措施，全力组织抢险救援工作。
