　　季建业2010年1月任中共南京市委副书记、市政府市长。10月19日，中组部有关负责人证实，季建业涉嫌严重违纪，中央已决定免去其领导职务，现正在按程序办理。

　　10月24日，南京市人大常委会会议以无记名表决的方式，决定接受季建业辞去南京市市长职务的请求，并报市人民代表大会会议备案。(完)
