京华时报讯(记者商西) 嫦娥三号出征在即。中国探月工程首席科学家欧阳自远昨天在新华网访谈中表示，嫦娥三号的任务是局部精细探测，虽然探测范围还没有北京市海淀区大，但要仔细了解“当地”情况，为今后把中国航天员送上月球奠定基础。
中国探月工程首席科学家、中国科学院院士、国际宇航科学院院士欧阳自远昨天介绍，嫦娥三号要在月球上“观天，看地、探月”，有几件是世界上别人没有做过的。
欧阳自远介绍，嫦娥三号携带了两样特殊的东西：一台近紫外月基天文望远镜，将进行世界上首次用月基天文望远镜观测天文；一台极紫外的望远镜或者照相机，观测地球等离子体层的密度、结构变化，反映地球空间大范围的环境变化，这也是世界上第一次做。
欧阳自远提到，世界上已有的月球探测器要么是单个着陆器，要么是单个月球车，嫦娥三号把着陆器和月球车两个探测器结合起来共同联合探测，也是其一个特点。
“嫦娥三号是一件很关键的事情”，欧阳自远介绍，作为中国无人探月的第二步，嫦娥三号要落在月球的一个地方，仔细去了解当地的情况，着陆器只能在那儿不能动，一个月球车再走也走不了多远，因此探测范围不大，还没有北京市海淀区大，目标是局部的精细探测。
为此，月球车上装了测月球土壤成分和测土壤各种矿物组成的仪器，全部探测数据直接发回地球，车底下还装了雷达，“一边走就等于把地下切开一刀看里面，这个土壤有哪几层，土壤里有没有大石块或是什么结构，同时还可以测地下100米深次表层的结构。”欧阳自远说，这也是世界上别人没有干过的。
