最近，媒体在不断报道着东城区法华寺私搭乱建的问题，引起了社会关注。而就在这一片混乱的大杂院当中，有市民向本报反映说，法华寺一处清代碑座被盗。
今年年初，市民宋大篪在法华寺拍摄到了这个碑座，但没想到手机里的图片竟成了文物遗照。今天上午，东城区文委尚未回应。
现场碑座消失市民留遗照
位于原崇文区的法华寺(现东城区法华寺街65号到67号)，于1989年成为区级文物保护单位。如今古寺内外私搭乱建严重，30多户组成一片拥挤的大杂院。
昨天，记者跟随宋大篪通过法华寺街，钻进一条狭窄曲折的小巷，来到古寺正殿西北侧外墙下。“碑座以前就放在这儿。”发现碑座被盗的宋先生告诉记者。
据了解，文物被盗后，有居民报警，但又说不清楚碑座具体样子，警方、文物部门都无法进行认定。好在今年1月11日，宋大篪为碑座留下了“遗照”。
从宋先生提供的资料图片看，被盗文物为方趺碑座，四面磨角，碑座上呈现榫孔，但已经没有了碑身，碑座正面雕刻二龙戏珠。
讲述曾遭损毁仍有人要买
记者看到，碑座不但长年风吹日晒，还与一座残破的水池为邻。宋大篪告诉记者，附近居民在此倒脏水，经常飞溅到碑座上，造成文物肮脏不堪、满是污渍。
据附近居民讲，街坊四邻每天出来进去都会经过碑座，大家早就习以为常。大约1个月前，有街坊早起后发现碑座没了，于是赶紧报警。
多位居民判断，盗贼是后半夜悄悄潜入，趁居民们睡熟之时将碑座抬走。碑座重量大，最少也要四个人抬，并未被居民发现。
据一位在此居住30多年的女士称，曾有人上门求购碑座，但遭到居民的拒绝，理由是文物是国家的东西，不能随意购买。
东城区文委尚未对此事回应
昨天上午11时，记者就此事致电东城区文委文物科，并在随后将采访提纲通过电邮发至该单位邮箱。但截至记者今天上午10时发稿时，已经过去了23个小时，记者并未接到该单位的答复。
专家碑座有200多年历史
北京石刻艺术博物馆副研究员、北京市文物鉴定委员会委员刘卫东介绍，丢失碑座材料为大理石，重量估计接近1吨，碑身虽不知去向，但从碑座的体量判断，碑身高度应该不超过2米。
初步推断，碑座是清康熙年间以后的文物，有200年左右的历史。刘卫东说，碑座的丢失，对法华寺日后的修缮、研究都是难以弥补的损失。
法华寺背景记录戊戌变法历史
法华寺全称大兴法华寺，原有山门及五进殿宇，是北京外城大寺院之一，始建于明代，祥年无考，清代康熙、同治年间历次重修。
清末时期，袁世凯曾在寺内居住，1898年戊戌变法时，维新派谭嗣同奉光绪皇帝密旨，深夜到法华寺与袁世凯密议，被袁世凯出卖。
寺院现存建筑为清代建筑，原有佛像，1958年被拆除。该寺的特点是石碑很多，但现在多已无存。
