资料显示，今年57岁的郭有明出生于湖北随州，毕业于武汉水利电力学院农田水利工程专业，职称高级工程师。
昨晚晚些时候再次点击“郭有明”选项时，页面无法正常显示。
公开活动 曾称反腐倡廉事关湖北发展大局

任职经历 上任前审查显示其熟悉经济工作
《法制晚报》记者注意到，郭有明是在2011年8月由湖北省宜昌市委书记、市人大常委会主任、党组书记职位直接升到湖北省政府副省长、党组成员的。
按照组织法和相关地方法律，2011年7月11日，湖北省人大常委会代表选举人事任免工作委员会组织部分拟任人员进行了任前法律知识考试。
同年7月18日，上述委员会召开会议，对湖北省人民政府《关于郭有明同志任职的议案》等进行了审查，委员会审查认为，提名郭有明同志为湖北省人民政府副省长人选是根据省委建议，因为工作需要提出的。
审查结果是，郭有明同志政治素质好；熟悉经济工作，注重宏观谋划，推动工作力度大；领导经验较丰富，驾驭全局的能力比较强；事业心责任感强，工作勤奋务实，敢抓敢管；团结同志，处事稳重，公道正派，要求自己比较严格。
郭有明同志的任职提名符合法律法规的有关规定，委员会同意将该议案提请省十一届人大常委会第二十五次会议审议。

今天上午，记者登录湖北省人民政府网，在政府领导栏中，副省长位置郭有明的名字及详细资料已被悄然撤下，原本7位副省长(含常务副省长)的简历只剩下6位。但记者昨天从该网站上的信息得知，郭有明此前负责国土资源、农业、农村、水利、防汛、林业、扶贫开发、南水北调、移民、三峡工程后续工作、农科教统筹等方面的工作。
他分管省国土资源厅、省水利厅、省农业厅、省林业厅、省扶贫办、省三峡办(省经协办)、省南水北调局、省移民局、省地矿局、省农垦局、省农科院。
另外，他还协管省气象局和油料所，联系长江水利委员会以及省长交办的其他工作。
《法制晚报》记者了解到，此前有媒体曾报道，湖北国土系统频出腐败案，近年来多名官员被调查，主要涉及农村土地整理工程。
据《楚天都市报》报道，2010年上半年，湖北省审计厅对该省2005年至2009年度108个土地整理和低丘岗地改造项目建设及资金管理使用情况进行审计，结果发现，20个县(市、区)部分项目存在监管不严、建设进度缓慢、工程质量不高、资金管理不规范等问题。
针对审计中发现的一些中介机构转包、行贿等违法现象，湖北省国土资源厅决定对发现的假借资质、串标围标、非法转包施工企业、监管不到位的监理单位和设计质量不高的相关设计单位，一律列入黑名单，两年内不得从事土地整理相关业务。
中央巡视组曾称收到反映官员问题的线索
中纪委网站昨天的消息就简单一句话，并无其他信息。因此，郭有明被查的具体原因、究竟是出自个人举报还是和中央巡视组有关，目前还没有明确。
此前，遵义书记廖少华被调查，正是中央巡视组反馈的线索。根据中央统一部署，今年6月2日至7月23日，中央第二巡视组对湖北省进行了巡视。
9月底，中央第二巡视组组长杜德印向湖北省反馈巡视情况时指出，巡视中干部群众反映了一些问题，主要是：在党风廉政建设方面，存在个别领导干部以权谋私，一些基层单位和农村干部的腐败问题呈上升趋势。
在执行民主集中制和干部选拔任用方面，个别地方和部门违规突击提拔干部，竞争性选拔干部的方法有待进一步完善。同时，巡视组还收到反映一些领导干部的问题线索，已按规定转中央纪委、中央组织部有关部门处理。
10月22日，湖北省召开省委常委会会议，研究部署中央巡视组反馈意见整改落实工作。会议表示，对于中央巡视组反馈的案件线索和具体问题，要迅速查实查清，做到件件有着落，事事有回音，以整改落实的实际成效，向党中央、向全省人民交一份满意答卷。
