“长江集团中心”位于香港中环皇后大道中2号。这座70层高的建筑外形方正，被媒体形容为造型酷似李嘉诚的性格———谨慎低调。旁边的“1号”则是李嘉诚多年来亲密的生意伙伴———汇丰银行总部。
保安森严：电梯根本无法抵达
“长江集团中心”大楼顶楼70层是李嘉诚的专属办公楼层，办公室、休息室、小型会议室、餐厅一应俱全。李嘉诚日常的办公事务都在这里进行。周一至周六上午九点前，年届85岁的李嘉诚都会准时出现在这里。

办公台桌椅两边是两台处于工作状态的电脑，页面闪烁的是集团股票的动态。办公桌对面一套待客沙发，沙发边的柜子上是两座慈善奖杯。围绕办公桌安装有六部电话：第一台，只有最亲密的朋友和家人才能接入；第二台，直通和记黄埔总裁；第三台和第四台，供集团开会使用；第五台，直通秘书室；第六台，则可以拨打长江大厦所有分机。
座椅右手边的墙上是两幅字画，其中一幅是郑板桥的《竹声萧萧》，另一幅是李嘉诚自称“近年来很喜欢的一副对子”，也是办公室里悬挂的唯一书法，语出左宗棠：“发上等愿结中等缘享下等福；择高处立寻平处住向宽处行”。
