该怀孕女教师的母亲接受记者采访时说，小琴（涉事女教师化名）是重庆一高校教师，今年5月认识纪玉华，之后纪玉华几乎每周末都会从厦门飞到重庆看小琴。6月，纪与小琴发生了关系。
小琴母亲说，10月，女儿告诉她自己怀孕了，此时胎儿已4个月。然而在谈婚论嫁的时候，纪玉华袒露了自己还未离婚的情况。后来纪玉华表示会与妻子尽快离婚、和小琴结婚，并写了一份承诺书，表示要支付80万元给小琴弥补伤害，几天后支付了45万元给小琴父亲。
根据小琴母亲的说法，10月21日，纪玉华以处理离婚事务和工作为由把她们母女带到厦门。但是到了厦门后，纪玉华的态度就发生了转变。
小琴母亲说，10月24日晚，纪玉华要求做亲子鉴定。10月25日，纪玉华又要求不做亲子鉴定，承认孩子是他的，直接谈赔偿。后因各种原因，双方谈判破裂。
女方 母亲回应“将起诉”
厦门大学接受新华社记者采访时回应称，纪玉华已经不再担任院长职务，女方“有许多撒谎行为”，校方正在配合警方进行调查。
“校方在网上曝光这个事情后，就向纪玉华质询过。”厦大相关负责人介绍说，“经了解，纪老师与这个女的有交往，但感觉是受到欺骗，后来发展为敲诈。纪老师之前已经向警方报案。”这位负责人透露，小琴有诈骗前科，而且撒谎，“她不是重庆高校教师，是无业游民，使用的名字、身份和她父母的工作都是假的。”
今天上午10时，小琴母亲接受《法制晚报》记者采访时说，因为这个事情搞得身心俱疲，“现在我高血压犯了，正躺在床上。”
小琴母亲说，她已经把委托书、承诺书、房产证等证据交给律师，委托律师对纪玉华的行为进行起诉。
