“外人看来，郭有明、陈柏槐的落马有些出乎意料。”湖北当地官方人士接受《华夏时报》采访时表示。事实上，郭是2012年才离开宜昌赴任省职的，此前深耕宜昌长达十多年，而案发源头很可能也是在宜昌。
被直接举报？
官方简历显示，郭有明出生于1956年，一直在湖北省内任职，2011年升任副省长，但一直兼任宜昌市委书记，直到2012年离开宜昌。自2000年赴宜昌任职起计算，郭在当地时间超过10年，其中担任市长4年，市委书记4年。

“这种事多了势必会影响与他人的关系，在这方面郭有明做得并不完美。”上述官员说。而在一些人看来，郭有明的行事风格，明显带有几分“宜昌特色”。
在湖北，宜昌因其“块头”较大及拥有三峡电力枢纽，而地位特殊。也正因如此，形成了外人眼中的“宜昌特色”。
