Shandong 7 dead accident caused by liquid ammonia leak identified： caps fall off

By the Weihai city, Shandong province, and relevant departments have set up 29th preliminary determination of the investigation team, Rushan ammonia leaks of liquid ammonia within a production plant of the company as a direct pipeline system caps fall off, causing ammonia leaks. Accidents did not have an impact on the surrounding environment, the surrounding air quality normal. Accident on 28th, 13 people were poisoned, in which 7 people were killed.

　　由山东省和威海市相关部门成立的调查组29日初步认定，乳山液氨泄漏事故直接原因系公司生产厂房内液氨管路系统管帽脱落，引起液氨泄漏。事故未对周边环境造成影响，周边空气质量正常。事故发生于28日17时13分，造成13人中毒，其中7人死亡。
