据华南航空工业集团提交的一项专利申请显示，该集团的工程师已为这种技术作出了自己的设计。他们所采用的方法是，在汽车的前后两端装上两个大大的“升降”风扇，每个风扇都能以相反的方向旋转。而在车身中部，工程师们则设计了两个较小的风扇，这两个挨在一起的风扇能帮助控制汽车，使其保持稳定。

两个主风扇下面各有一个托盘，可在驾驶中进行调整，以便帮助提供汽车飞行所需要的方向推力。

从如图所示的专利设计中，还看不太出乘客空间有多大。不过，这看起来只是一种初步设计而已，未来应该会有更多改进。
