倪超，原本是南京钢铁厂的一名钳工。直至1998年，由于单位效益不好，倪超提前内退，靠每月700元退休金生活。
2006年，倪超决定自己开个小店铺做生意。他将临街的小房间和厨房打通，卖起了烟酒，还悄悄给自己定下每年至少要捐出1万元爱心款的任务。
为了完成给自己定下的“捐款任务”，倪超在原有的小烟酒店铺基础上，还做起了兼送牛奶、卖福利彩票，8年来至少捐出11万爱心款。
在倪超家的一角，有20多只废弃的打气筒，这是8年来免费给骑车人打气用坏的。他的小店里常年配备着创可贴、小橡皮，全部都是免费提供给大家用。
倪超每年都会去南京慈善总会捐款，他有一个习惯，嘱咐工作人员不要告诉受助人，尤其是受助贫困生，希望孩子们没有负担。
如今，倪超住的还是二十多年前的老房子，家里没有什么像样的家具。在生活中，倪超对自己格外小气，舍不得花钱买菜，常常就着萝卜干和豆腐乳就是一顿饭，更别提买新衣服，千方百计省下的钱最后都捐了出去。
倪超还说，他现在所住的房子，将来估计也会捐给社会。对此，家里人很支持他，只要他开心就好。
