南都讯 记者黄怡 吴润凯 昨日，省纪委省监察厅官方网站南粤清风网发布消息，经省纪委有关负责人证实，惠州市政协副主席邓炳球因涉嫌严重违纪，正在接受组织调查。
据惠州市政府官方网站公布的简历，邓炳球在1974年9月参加工作后，长期任职于惠东县(市)。曾任惠东县白花莆田中学教师，白花公社(区)党委办资料员、林业助理、团委副书记，白花镇党委宣传委员，松坑乡党委副书记，松坑乡党委书记，大岭镇党委书记，县委宣传部副部长、宣教系统党委副书记，县委常委、县政府党组成员，县委常委、组织部长。
1999年11月，邓炳球调任惠阳市委常委、组织部长，后历任惠阳市委副书记、副市长、代市长，惠阳市委副书记、市长，惠阳区委副书记、区长。2007年2月，任惠州市公路管理局局长，仅4个月后调任龙门县委书记。2009年初，调至惠州市政协任秘书长、办公室主任；2010年1月后，任惠州市政协副主席、秘书长、办公室主任。

据悉，邓炳球在市政协兼任秘书长、办公室主任，主要分管机关工作和财务。一名市政协委员透露，邓平时和企业家委员走得比较近。省纪委和惠州市政协方面未透露邓炳球违纪的具体缘由。
