中国民航局称，两岸航空主管部门于近日举行了两岸航空运输第九次沟通工作会议。根据会议内容，2014年春节的两岸航班加班时间为1月17日至2月14日。并且，航班总量不予限制，仅在大陆部分繁忙机场设有上限。
明年春节期间，浦东机场将共计有105个两岸对飞航班，而北京、广州、深圳、杭州各有7班、11班、10班、47班往返航班。此次，上海浦东较今年春节加班机上限50班大幅增加一倍。但上海虹桥机场及台北松山机场春节期间不开放两岸加班，原营运往返松山机场两岸航线的航空公司，将安排桃园机场包机。
两岸目前双方总航班为每周670个往返。两岸航空主管部门此次决定，将其增加为828个，双方各增加每周79个往返。海峡两岸航空公司各方每个日历月30班不定期旅游包机额度仍继续实施；季节性不定期旅游包机，将由台湾方面新增台中航点，现有的马公、花莲、台东、嘉义及台南5个航点，将增加为6个航点。
