  新京报讯 (记者廖爱玲) 昨天,一场转基因食品嘉年华在东城区后山艺术空间举行,现场“秀”出从世界各地收集的用转基因大豆、玉米做成的百余种转基因食品。多位权威专家组成的科学家团则为转基因“正名”。  展品在国内“买不到”


  在北美常与牛奶一起冲泡的早餐食品玉米脆片,里面的玉米粉是转基因玉米;来自中国台湾的黑豆干,用的也是转基因大豆;美国流行的朱古力蛋白冲剂,也加入了转基因大豆蛋白成分……活动现场,摆出了用转基因食材制作的豆干、甜点、能量棒、玉米脆片、牛羊肉调料、饮料等,这些美食外观与普通传统食品并无差异,口感也没有不同。


  主办方一负责人介绍,这些转基因食材都不是国内产品,而是“全球各地网友帮助搜罗邮寄,汇集的食品或食材”,由厨师做成小食品让大家品尝。在我国,转基因食品只有木瓜、大豆调和油等少数品种。现场展示的“在国内市场上买不到”。


  专家家中使用转基因油


  昨天,包括中国工程院院士陈君石、农大食品科学与营养工程学院院长罗云波、中国农科院生物技术研究所研究员黄大昉、中科院遗传与发育生物学研究所研究员朱桢在内的科学家团,也到场为转基因食品“正名”,意在消除公众对转基因食品的误区。


  罗云波说,他家里用的就是转基因食用油,因为其少农药残留、少病虫害,反而更安全。


  陈君石院士强调,目前,没有任何证据显示转基因有问题,国内用了转基因必须明确标识,只要经过安全评价批准上市的转基因食品,与常规食品同样安全。


  科学家团否认“转基因作物安全没有定论”,称世界卫生组织、联合国粮农组织、欧洲食品安全局转基因生物小组、美国FDA等机构给出的意见都是:目前批准商业化的转基因作物是安全的,可放心食用。

  答(中国工程院院士-陈君石):目前,针对转基因作物,大多数国家都建立了特定系统来严格评价,而对传统作物一般不开展类似评价。因此,这两种作物,在投放市场前的评价程序存在差别,转基因作物的安全性评估远比传统作物严格。

  问:发达国家和地区吃不吃转基因食品?


  答(旅美科学作家、美国食品技术协会高级会员-云无心):美国是转基因消费大国,转基因玉米和大豆是美国诸多食品的原料,大约40%-60%的日常食品都含转基因。在欧盟,批准的转基因作物可做食物用途的有玉米、油菜、大豆、甜菜,日本允许的转基因食品目前已达283种,澳大利亚、加拿大、瑞士等都允许转基因食物。

  问:国外是否都要求转基因食品要有标识?


  答(云无心):欧盟规定任何含转基因成分的食品要强制标识,即使来源于转基因作物、但检测不到转基因成分的也要标识。东南亚、大洋洲也需要标识。美国对转基因动物审批较严格,按照药物审批程序,但认为转基因植物经安全评估跟传统食品一样安全,不强制商家标识。


  目前,中国5类(大豆、玉米、油菜、棉花、番茄)17种转基因生物要求销售时必须标识。
