　　参观国博是卡梅伦本次访华安排中的一项文化活动，透露出的主要信息是中英将发展包括政治、经济、文化在内全面的关系。中英两国是都有着深厚的文化积淀和历史传统的国家。今天上午两国总理已经举行了正式会谈，主要涵盖政治、经济议题，并出席了两国经贸合作领域的签字仪式。两国总理一起参观国博的举动可以被解读为双方还重视发展中英之间的文化交流。文化交流的主要的功能是增进不同民族、人民之间的相互理解和沟通，而文化的积淀往往集中体现了一个民族的特质，包括思想、哲学等等，通过文化交流可以更好地促进人民之间的了解和信任。
