卡梅伦表示，中国的发展是二十一世纪具有划时代意义的事件，不仅造福中国人民，对世界也是重大机遇。中共十八届三中全会勾画出中国未来发展的宏图，令人刮目相看。我相信中国一定能实现既定目标，愿意深入了解中国改革开放进程。英方高度重视中国的成功及英中合作，愿同中方保持高层交往，在相互尊重基础上加强对话，加深了解。中国扩大内需，对英国是巨大商机。英方欢迎中国投资英国基础设施建设、核电等领域。英方愿同中方加强在重大国际和地区问题上的沟通和协调，共同维护世界和平与安全，促进全球经济稳定复苏和可持续发展。
