记者电话联系上温丽的哥哥刘怀洲，据刘怀洲介绍，他们兄妹俩今年4月共同出资贷款买了两辆货车，每辆车30多万元，贷款首付20多万元，每月需还贷2万多元，被扣的是其中一辆。11月14日，他们的车被永城运政和路政执法人员拦下，司机在出示了给运政部门缴纳的3000元年票和给路政部门缴纳的3000元月票后，两部门仍坚持罚款。跟车的温丽当天兜里只有300多块钱，求情未果后，选择了服农药自杀。
目前，河南省交通厅、商丘市政府都已派人到永城调查该事件。永城当地已成立联合调查组，并责成永城市交通局党委、公路局党组写出深刻检查，对有关责任人严肃处理。
