中新网汕头12月5日电(记者 李怡青) 据中国地震台网正式测定，北京时间2013年12月05日07时35分在广东省汕头市南澳县附近海域(北纬23.4度，东经117.5度)发生3.0级地震，震源深度25公里。
记者5日从汕头市地震局了解到，由于地震发生在海域，且震源深度较深，能量传到地面衰减大，市民所处位置烈度小，因此无明显震感。
汕头地震局称，地震的烈度是某个地方受到地震破坏程度的衡量，跟震级不同，它受很多因素影响，例如与震源的距离远近、房屋的抗震性能和地质条件等。
有一位从事手机修理行业的市民接受记者采访时表示，当时无明显震感。但家里养的猫在地震前则显得烦躁不安。
广东汕头市南澳县位于闽、粤、台三省海面交叉点，是广东省唯一的海岛县。(完)
