China is to build 18 trade zone， involving a total of 31 countries and regions

Yao Jian, at present, is building 18 free trade zones in China, involving a total of 31 countries and regions. Among them, has signed 12 free trade agreements, namely, China and the ASEAN, Singapore, Pakistan, New Zealand, and Chile, and Peru, and Costa Rica, and Iceland and Switzerland free trade agreement, the Mainland and Hong Kong and Macao closer economic partnership arrangement, as well as mainland China and Taiwan's cross-strait economic cooperation framework agreement. In addition Iceland and Switzerland outside the free trade agreement has not yet entered into force, the rest have been implemented. 6 FTA under negotiation, namely, China and Korea, the Gulf Cooperation Council, Australia and Norway free trade negotiations, as well as the Sino-Japan-Korea FTA and the regional comprehensive economic partnership agreement negotiations.

　　中新网12月5日电 据商务部网站消息，商务部新闻办公室4日召开“自贸区建设”专题新闻发布会。商务部新闻发言人姚坚在会上介绍，目前，我国正在建设18个自贸区，涉及31个国家和地区。其中，已签署12个自贸协定。

　　姚坚指出，党中央和国务院高度重视自贸区建设工作，早在十七大就明确提出“实施自由贸易区战略”，十八大再次提出“加快实施自由贸易区战略”，十八届三中全会又提出要“加快自由贸易区建设”，“形成面向全球的高标准自由贸易区网络”，凸显了中央对推进自贸区建设的坚定决心。

　　2002年，我国与东盟十国签署《全面经济合作框架协议》，宣布建立中国-东盟自贸区。经过十来年的发展，自贸区建设已成为我国加入世贸组织后，以开放促改革、促发展的新平台和新方式。

　　姚坚介绍，目前，我国正在建设18个自贸区，涉及31个国家和地区。其中，已签署12个自贸协定，分别是我国与东盟、新加坡、巴基斯坦、新西兰、智利、秘鲁、哥斯达黎加、冰岛和瑞士的自贸协定，内地与香港、澳门的更紧密经贸关系安排，以及大陆与台湾的海峡两岸经济合作框架协议。除了与冰岛和瑞士的自贸协定还未生效外，其余均已实施。正在谈判6个自贸协定，分别是我国与韩国、海湾合作委员会、澳大利亚和挪威的自贸谈判，以及中日韩自贸区和《区域全面经济合作伙伴关系协定》谈判。

　　此外，我国还完成了与印度的区域贸易安排(RTA)联合研究；正与哥伦比亚和斯里兰卡等开展自贸区联合可行性研究。我国已初步构建起横跨东西的周边自贸平台和辐射各洲的全球自贸网络。
